SF from Double Dragon Publishing.
New print release!
In the future, whites have become a minority and are treated as second-class citizens by the colored majority. Whites are discriminated against, relegated to shantytowns and allowed to do only menial labor under segregation laws that are beginning to amount to little more than slavery. As conditions grow worse, white 'volunteers' are worked to death in mine pits and the tar sands, where conditions are so brutal that serving as test subjects on alien planets begins to sound better than anything on earth, no matter what the danger.
Available from Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and book stores.

Dream Realm Award Winner
Warp Point is the winner of the Dream Realm Award in the category of Science Fiction, given each year at the Armadillocon SF convention in Austin, Texas. By coincidence (or perhaps PSI?) Darrell had already finalized plans to be there this year. Read Darrell's report about Armadillocon in the September 2007 newsletter.
A blog will appear on the website in the future, as quickly as some other projects are taken care of, in preparation for a virtual book tour scheduled for November of 2007 after the debut of Darrell's first hardcover release, Savage Survival.
A new link to sites where Darrell's short stories can be downloaded is in progress and will appear as soon as possible.
Autographed copies of the international best seller, Alien Infection, are now available for $12.95, shipping and handling included.
New ebook release
The Focus Factor is available now from Fictionwise.com or eReader.com.
The Focus Factor is a suspense/thriller but can just as easily be enjoyed by science fiction as well as mainstream fans. It begins with a distraught scientist, Dr. Murray Blake, whose family has been killed in a crash with a truckload of illegal aliens. He decides to try using his research into the extreme focusing shown by some autistics to find a solution to the illegal immigration problem.
But it doesn't stop there! Dr. Blake discovers that solving the illegal immigration problem using the Focus Factor leads to a way to address every other problem besetting America in the 21st century--but does he dare risk it? The solution is draconian. Failure will mean his and his friends' execution as traitors. Success will set America on a new path to greatness.
Find out what happens by reading The Focus Factor by Darrell Bain and Gerald Mills.
Whether you're a Republican, Democrat, Independent or Apolitical; whether you like suspense, mainstream or science fiction; you're bound to find some satisfaction in this truly unusual book that uses fiction to explore extremely timely topics.
Biography
Darrell has been asked by a number of people when his biography will be posted. Rather than a short biography, he has decided to make it into a rather extensive memoir, and to post some of it each month on this web site. Each new posting, and archives of previous parts of the memoir, will be found by clicking on the "MEMOIR" link at the top of the web page.
